Equate Petrochemical Company hosted a lunch this week to celebrate the connection of power to their new headquarters building. The luncheon took place in the foyer of the substantially completed building and was attended by staff from Equate, Gulf Consult, Projacs and KCPC.
Toyota has been recognized for its commitment to environmental sustainability. The article also recognized the green efforts encompassed in the New Project “Toyota City”, which GC was commissioned to work on by Al-Sayer.
GC were commissioned by White stores to design and supervise one of their new warehouse facilities in Al-Rai Industrial Area. The project will consist of a big steel warehouse structure comprising basement, ground and mezzanine levels.
The Jaber Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah Hospital was officially handed over on October 16th 2016. A Committee from the Ministry of Public Works, accompanied by representatives from Gulf Consult and Arab Contractors, visited the project and toured the different buildings to assess the status of the works and the level of completion. The committee was pleased with the quality of the project and recommended the issuance of the Substantial Completion Certificate.

Current Projects Underway on behalf of Ministry of Public Works
Gulf Consult has been appointed by the Ministry of Health to provide construction supervision services for the New Farwaniya Hospital. The new hospital will be built in the location of the existing one and is presently under construction. When completed in 2019, it will be one of the largest hospitals in Kuwait. The 5 new buildings include 955 patient beds, emergency and surgical units, a dental center, and a multistory car park for 1, 400 cars.
The twelfth phase of sewage improvements is well underway at Hadeeyah and Riqqa and will be completed by 2017. At present, the two areas drain to different catchments, Hadeyah to PS A15 and Riqqa to PS A14. Under the new drainage system of trunk sewers and pumping stations, both areas will be connected to the new Egaila Pumping Station.
Parsons Brinckerhoff, in association with Gulf Consult, were commissioned to undertake all necessary design work in order to complete the loop of the urban motorway around and through the city centre in the First Ring Road (Package 2) project.
Gulf Consult on behalf of The Kuwait National Guard is aiming to construct a Marina at the KNG club in Fuanaitis. The new marina, that will accommodate the officer’s boats and yachts, will house around 125 yachts of different sizes. The marina will connect to the shore by means of a bridge or a causeway to allow for the access of boats and pedestrians.

Alghanim International on behalf of the Ministry of Health has commissioned NBBJ, and Gulf Consult, to undertake the design of the Kuwait Cancer Center’s new hospital building. This project will be located adjacent to the existing KCC facility within the Shuwaikh Medical District, between Jamal Abdul Nasser Street and Al-Jahra Road.
