Gulf Consult was commissioned by Ministry of Public Works – Sanitary Engineering, to design and supervise the Central Telemetry Buildings Project.

This facility comprises three Main Buildings and one Utility Building:
  • Building A – Central Telemetry
  • Building B – Environmental Administration
  • Building C – Purification & Water Resources
  • Building D – Central Plant Utility

The Central Telemetry Building is the heart of this project. It houses a large semi-circular Central Control Room equipped with “state of the art” Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition System. This system are envisaged to monitor and control MPW’s Sanitary Engineering facilities such as Pump Stations (Sewage Lifting & Transfer, Treated Water and Storm Water) and Waste Water Treatment Plants.

The facility is equipped with the following features:
  • A 100 plus CCTV camera based Surveillance System
  • Card and Biometrics Access Control System
  • Building Management System
  • Computerized Management Control System
  • A Large Matrix of Video Walls for Display

In pursuance of the Go Green agenda, a large surrounding of the buildings houses open spaces for landscape and plantation. A professionally designed Central Control Room, in accordance with operational safety, comforts and ergonomics will be the Hallmark of Building A. This will be a standard against which other control rooms in Kuwait will be rated.
