Buro Happold were commissioned to be the overall concept and project engineers, as well as to undertake marine and other specialised engineering work. Gulf Consult was commissioned to support Buro Happold and to undertake the following scope:
- Detailed design and tender documentation of the telecommunications network, electricity supplies and water for an initial area of 300ha.
- Connections from this area to the Nuwaiseeb highway and to water and electricity services.
- Processing of approvals for all services were designed by Gulf Consult and Buro Happold.
- Construction Supervision.
