The Scientific Centre is located on the Arabian Gulf Street in the Salmiya district of Kuwait and is set within a one kilometer frontage to the Gulf.
The Scientific Centre includes:
- The Gulf’s largest Aquarium
- The Living Desert, presenting habitats of the desert and coastal edge
- The Discovery Place, providing interactive learning experiences
- An Imax Theatre with 240 seats
- Dhow Harbour
- Two sea front family restaurants
- Museum Shop
Gulf Consult received an Award of Excellence for the Design and Construction Supervision of the Scientific Centre (2001) by the American Concrete Association (ACI).
