Upcoming Contract for COBW and COB

Kuwait University will sign a contract on May 22, 2012 to begin construction of the College of Business and College for Women at the new Sabah Al-Salem University City Campus.

The College of Business is being designed for a total of 4,000 students divided between the female and male campuses. It will house eight major departments and the design is based on the main building wrapping around a large central garden as the major public space or ‘College Agora’.

The College for Women will be a state of the art teaching and research facility for over 3,000 undergraduate students and 300 graduate students. Both Colleges will comply with a LEED Silver rating. Gulf Consult, in association with Cambridge Seven Associates of Boston, has designed and will supervise this project.
